As the Founder and President of GreyStar Technology Consulting, Mr. Gunter serves as the senior executive supporting all aspects of the organization. He is a Management and Information Technology Consultant with over a decade and a half of experience documenting, developing, testing and maintaining mission critical business analytic, financial transaction, regulatory reporting, case management, compliance enforcement and health care systems. Mr. Gunter graduated from Howard University with a degree in Computer Based Information Systems. Upon graduation, he began his IT career working in financial services for Goldman Sachs supporting internal clients on technical, operational and process improvement projects. After spending almost six years in New York, Mr. Gunter relocated to Washington, D.C. where he began his career in consulting working for Booz Allen Hamilton and then Deloitte Consulting LLC, supporting clients such as the Environmental Protection Agency, Dept. of Treasury (IRS) and Office of Foreign Assets Control. Upon leaving Deloitte Consulting LLC, he then spent almost four years at Thomas & Herbert LLC supporting their Federal Health Care Practice and the Veterans Health Administration Business Architecture unit before moving on to lead their Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as the Program Manager.
As the COO of GreyStar Technology Consulting, Mr. Jones is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the operational aspects of GTC, to include, strategic planning and implementation of programmatic initiatives. Prior to joining GTC, Jason majored in Chemical Engineering at Hampton University and began his career in technology with Cox Communications providing support as a Compliance Analyst at the Regional Operations Center in Norfolk, Virginia. He continued to support Cox Communications across multiple markets from the Gulf Coast Region to its Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia where he expanded his expertise to Fraud Analytics and Business Systems Analysis. Jason has since provided over ten years of support to various Fortune 500 companies as a Technology Consultant; providing expertise in documenting, designing, developing and testing compliance and risk management systems. Mr. Jones then relocated to Richmond, Virginia where he began his consulting career providing his services to companies such as Verizon Wireless, The Argo Group, Wells Fargo Brokers, Allianz Global Assistance, Dominion Power and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Throughout Mr. Jones' career he has been responsible for a host of integration projects, enterprise launches, process improvement initiatives and system development efforts. His experiences leading both small and large-scale projects, has resulted in a proven track record of success.
Rollie O. Kimbrough, Jr. is an Advisor at GreyStar Technology Consulting. He has a professional career that spans over fifty years in the Information Technology (IT) field and as a social entrepreneur. Mr. Kimbrough was the founder and former President/CEO of MCSI Technologies, Inc. from 1979 to 2001. MCSI during its twenty-two year history created employment for hundreds of high tech professionals and support services personnel. MCSI a systems integration company successfully managed many multi-million dollar projects for the federal, state and local governments as well as private industry. Mr. Kimbrough's professional employment history includes firms such as Guyana Bauxite Company, Guyana, S.A., Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Computer Science Corporation, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Honeywell Corporation. Mr. Kimbrough holds an undergraduate degree in Physics/Mathematics from Youngstown State University, a graduate degree in Physics/Computer Science from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance/Accounting from American Intercontinental University. During the Clinton Administration Mr. Kimbrough was appointed to the U.S. SBA, Region III Regulatory Fairness Board and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Information Systems Advisory Boards. He was also on the Maryland Democratic Board of Trustees, Democratic National Committee – (Business Leadership Council) and Member of the Board of the Minority Business Education and Defense Fund.
Lloyd A. Jones worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as a career and Presidential appointee leading the Farmers Home Administration and now Rural Development agencies/mission areas as State Director in Virginia. The Rural Development Mission Area is committed to a strong and vibrant economy in our rural areas by supporting infrastructure development and enhancement, job creation, developing new, efficient and effective technologies which support and improve the quality of life for our citizens. Building strong working relationships with energy co-operatives, business development, community facilities and housing are foundational missions and responsibilities of the agency.
He is a graduate of Virginia State University degreed in Agriculture Business. Lloyd has served on the Board of Directors for Star Scientific, AshCreek Property Owners Association and the Hanover Rotary Club. He is an avid sports fan especially enjoying college football.
